Welch Allyn Connex® Cardio ECG is a full-capacity multi-lead resting electrocardiograph with Mortara VERITAS™ resting ECG algorithm. Offering multiple connectivity and communication options, this Connex® ECG device allows customizing the workflow according to your individual requirements. EMR compatibility and simple interface facilitate test data transfer to the patient’s chart with only two clicks. Advanced filtering ensures high-fidelity ECG data that complies with ACC, AHA and HRS recommendations for adult and pediatric patients.

Excellent Functionality
Connected to a PC, Connex® Cardio facilitates a simulations signal acquisition from all 12 leads and features 0.05 Hz - 300 Hz. An outstanding “best 10 seconds” function eliminates the need of retest allowing to identify the clear ECG record among the saved ECG data. EMR compatible, the Connex® Cardio application can be launched from the EMR which allows saving acquired ECG data directly to the patent’s chart. In addition, ECG reports can be saved in pdf format and sent to any available server or printed out. In addition, the Connex® Cardio application offers time and amplitude calipers tool for manual data processing.

VERITAS™ ECG Algorithm
Supplied with VERITAS™ resting ECG algorithm, the Connex® Cardio ensures superb data fidelity and breaks into a leading position when compared to other high-capacity units like Welch Allyn’s PC-Based Resting ECG. VERITAS™ algorithm limits filtering despite filter settings ensuring that no life-saving data is lost. The ECG data gone through advanced AC and Low-pass filters is displayed with clearly distinctive processed and original waveforms. Therefore, filtering does not override the original waveform allowing to make critical decisions based on true data in full disclosure.

When compared to the Welch Allyn’s PC-Based Resting ECG which is proven to be a popular choice among many world’s specialists, Connex® Cardio ECG provides even greater user flexibility and allows a fully adjustable workflow. Connex® Cardio is offered in variations with WAM or AM12 modules. The first one helps facilitate a wireless connection to a PC, while AM12 module features a wired connection. Moreover, some Connex® Cardio units support DICOM® communication allowing to standardize connectivity throughout the facility.
